Alphard tyre info.

17" can use Dunlop and Yokohama.

Alphard is very comfort in straight line, but dont expect any super cornering ability, the original suspention is too soft n the body is very tall.
If you want super handling ability, i strongly recomend Tein Adjustable suspention system for alphard.

Also if you dislike the wheel, dont hesitate to change it. Anywhere you look at it, it just too small. 18-19 will do nice. 20 fit nice. 22 can too but not recomended. Too risky.

Try Toyo Tranpath LU. Great grip.

There are some tyre i recommend for 245/45R18:

BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE050
BRIDGESTONE TURANZA ER300
TOYO PROXES CT01
TOYO TRANPATH LU
DUNLOP SP SPORT MAXX
DUNLOP LEMANS LM703
YOKOHAMA DNA dB EURO ES550
YOKOHAMA DNA dB ES501

Dunlop and yokohama work best for me. Michelin doesnt work very well for me. Did not connect to my handling style.

Toyo has great grip but less longer than the other.

EAGLE LS2000 is a good tyre, a little bit noisy sometimes depend on road condition. Good performance, not extreme, but suitable for daily life. more long lasting than Toyo, less grip than Toyo.

Tyre pressure 32-34psi.

Not that comfortable more like a rock hihihi . You can almost feel running a single peeble.
20" is the max limit for discomfort tollerance with 35 tyre.

18-19" is ideal between comfort and style. As long the wheel design is right.

If you using 18" dont try elegant style wheel! It wont match becauce it will still look rather small. Choose racing style. with 45 tyre.

Reach 19" and beyond then you start using elegant style. Although racing style still ok.

One other thing, to make 17-18" wheel attractive always choose a CHROME wheel! Chrome will give more value and style to small wheel or less attractive design.

Yokohama Avid/Advan, Toyo Tranpath Lu. 225/55-17.

(Lowdown suspention 2-3cm)
F18x8.0+45 235/50-18 or 245/45-18
R18x9.0+35 235/50-18 or 245/45-18
F19x+8.5+40~+45 245/40-19
R19x+9.0+35~+38 245/40-19
F20x8.5+40~+45 245/35-20
R20x9.5+35~+38 245/35-20

(lowdown suspention 5-7cm)
F18x8.5+40 235/50-18 or 245/45-18
R18x9.5+30 235/50-18 or 245/45-18
F19x+8.5+35~+40 245/40-19
R19x+9.5+30~ 245/40-19
F20x9.0+40 245/35-20
R20x9.5+30 245/35-20

But it depend on the wheel designs. Not all share the same offset setup. Mesh, Fin, Block, spoke, deep dish, each must be calculate carefully.

TRD spring is good la. Not Bumpy but stiffer at corners.

If the tyres has grid thickness more than 3mm then it still can be use. better safe than anything else.

Toyo tyres is used many in japan. But not so many as yokohama and brigdestone. The weakness of Toyo, it wears off too quikly, faster than competitors in the same class. But grip is excellent.

Tein, Tanabe, Espelir, Eibach.
But if you got money use the adjustable or air-suspension.

Also for the tires use Yokohama, it's quiet, good grip, soft ride.
I use Yokohama also for the 20" and the 22"

One tip!: if you confuse with all those brand, choose the one with more spiral within the spring.
Usually spring with more spiral is more comfortable.

standard tires thus it's heavier.
If you want to remain using the 18" wheel, choose 245/55 tire, more stability in corner and similar size with the std tire.
Std tire 225/55-17 or 205/65-16.
Yokohama or Dunlop is more recommend.

245/45-18 is 677mm tall, it's between 205/65-16 at 670mm and 225/55-17 at 683mm. so size 245/45-18 or 235/45-18(669mm) is consider best for your car.

Bridgestone potenza RE001 245/45/18......now the car is much more comfort compare with last time using "botak" tyre.... RE001! Nice...!! It can be pushed in the corner

CT01 has more grip than Tranpath, good for wet condition, and more comfortable.
it's longer lasting than other toyo, Grip good, wet good.
But not to comfortable, expensive, suitable for aggressive driver and car. Not for comfort. Race breed.

Ditch the tranpath for CT01 if you want Toyo. But like all Toyo, it dont last long.

New Yokohama AVS Db Decibel S2/V500/550 surpass the Toyo CT01 on dry-wet-noise-wear. This is top-list-most-recommended-tire.
Also:
Dunlop SP Sport 01
Dunlop LeMans LM702

Falcon ZIEX ZE912 is Hybrid-Asymmetric Pattern Designed. UTQG Rating : 360-AA-A, Speed Rating: W and Load Rating : 101

Pretty good in the wet condition and with the load rating, pretty good for our monster
